Dental Implants

Dental implants are one of the best and most long-term solutions to replacing a missing tooth or several missing teeth. At Isabella Avenue Dentistry, we strive to provide our patients with the best possible solutions to replace missing teeth, all in one place!

Dental implants have the appearance and structural integrity of natural teeth. By using your jaw bone support, the dental implants do not need to attach to your other healthy teeth, avoiding the possibility of weakening them.

Partial Dentures

When just one tooth or multiple teeth are missing, a partial denture (known as a bridge) may be a great option for you! This partial denture fills the space between one or more missing teeth with natural-looking dental crowns that are fixed to durable, gum-colored acrylic. Some patients choose a removable partial denture, while others may opt for a fixed partial denture, or bridge, option. The bridge option is fixed to the adjacent healthy teeth.

Immediate & Complete Dentures

After the removal and extraction of teeth, a set of immediate dentures will be provided. Prior to any teeth being removed, an impression of the mouth will be made and an “immediate” denture will be created. These will allow the patient to enjoy a full set of teeth directly after tooth removal. While these dentures may help patients eat and speak while their gums heal, they will require adjustments to ensure comfort. Immediate dentures should only be considered a temporary solution.

Once the mouth has healed from the extractions, a complete, or full, set of dentures will be customized for the patient. These are removable prosthetics that are used when all remaining teeth have been lost or removed, after significant damage or decay. Dentures comfortably adhere to the upper and lower arches of the mouth to look like natural, healthy teeth with complete functionality.

Denture Relines

For patients who already have dentures but have noticed changes in their fit and comfort, professional denture relines may be an option for you! Denture relines help to add depth to the existing denture to offer a more comfortable and functional feel to the denture.

Implant Retained Dentures

Are you frustrated after losing multiple teeth but can’t imagine yourself with dentures? Implant retained dentures may be the perfect solution for you! During this process, traditional dentures are held in place by dental implants. Implant retained dentures typically last longer, look more natural, and improve your quality of life! Patients with implant retained dentures typically maintain their natural face shape and bite even years after tooth loss.
